A blonde stopped at a gas station, got out of the car, opened the hood, and checked the engine oil. After a few seconds of what appeared to be intelligent thinking she took the dipstick in her hand and walked over to the attendant. “Excuse me,” she said, “but can I buy a longer dipstick?”

“Sure, ma’am, of course.

Why do you need a longer one?”

“Because this one isn’t long enough to reach the oil.”

High prices of gas
Two people walk into a gas station. The first one says, “These prices are awful. They just keep going higher!”

The second replies, “It doesn’t affect me at all.

I always put in just $20 worth.”

Two gas company servicemen,
a senior training supervisor and a young trainee, were out checking meters in a suburban neighbourhood. They parked their truck at the end of the alley and worked their way to the other end. At the last house, a woman looking out her kitchen window watched the two men as they checked her gas meter.

Finishing the meter check, the senior supervisor challenged his younger co-worker to a foot race down the alley back to the truck to prove that an older guy could outrun a younger one. As they came running up to the truck, they realised the lady from that last house was huffing and puffing right behind them. They stopped and asked her what was wrong.

Gasping for breath, she replied, “When I saw two men from the gas company running as hard as you two were, I figured I’d better run too!”

Two best friends Emma and Catherine meet each other at a coffee shop and Emma reached quite late. Emma explained the reason of being late, “I bought a Volkswagen beetle last week and today it broke in the middle of the road. To my surprise, when I checked there is no engine under the hood.

The engine lost somewhere in the way.”

Catherine said calmly, “Oh really, don’t worry at all. I also own a Volkswagen Beetle and have a spare engine in the trunk of my car. You can have it.”
