I’ve been rich and I’ve been treated like I was worthless, sometimes in the same hour.

Don’t scream. Don’t explain.
Turn your truck around. Go home.
Open the safe.
And remind yourself what you’re actually worth. Not in dollars.
In what you’ve built, in who you’ve loved, in the calluses on your hands and the truth in your word.
Because at the end of the day, when the lights go out and the music stops and the guests all leave, the only thing standing is the foundation.
