The Cranky Wife’s Prank

Fed up with her husband always coming home late, a woman decided to teach him a lesson. She left a note on the dresser:
“I’ve had enough. I’m leaving you.

Don’t bother coming after me.”

Then, she hid under the bed to watch his reaction. A while later, her husband walked in. She held her breath as he read the note.

After a moment, he grabbed a pen, scribbled something on the paper, then picked up his phone. “She’s finally gone… Yeah, I know, about time. I’m coming over.

Put on that little French nightie… I love you. Can’t wait to do all the naughty things you like.”

He hung up, grabbed his keys, and walked out. Furious, heartbroken, and ready to commit a crime, she crawled out from under the bed and snatched the note to see what he had written.

It said:

“I can see your feet. We’re out of bread. Be back in five.”
