I Refuse to Cook Lunch for My Husband’s Family Every Sunday, So I Set the Perfect Trap

Kristin, 26, and her husband, 27, moved into a spacious new home four months ago, with his parents loaning them 80% of the money. Since then, his entire family of eight has come over for lunch every Sunday, assuming the large house should host everyone. Each week, Kristin cooks, cleans, and does the dishes alone while no one offers to help.

When she told her husband she was overwhelmed, he reminded her that his parents helped buy the house and implied this was her way of showing gratitude. Feeling unappreciated, Kristin decided to make a point. One Sunday, she welcomed everyone warmly and served their favorite meal, acting as though everything was normal.

After they finished eating, she revealed that the kitchen was a mess and announced that cleaning it was their responsibility. The family stood frozen in surprise as they walked in and saw the chaos awaiting them.
